  • Description

Tracy Hinck is a newer member of the Nine East Network team, joining us in October of 2015. She brings a wealth of experience as both an Educational Audiologist and a Speech Language Pathologist. After receiving her B.A. in Communication Disorders from University of Vermont, she worked for three years in Randolph, Vermont as a Speech Therapist. This work inspired her to move to California, where she first earned a M.S. in Communication Disorders – Audiology from San Francisco State University, and later an M.S. in Communication Disorders – Speech Language Pathology.

Tracy has been working with deaf and hard of hearing kids as an educational audiologist since 1993. She also gained experience in clinical practice with adults and children, dispensing hearing aids and hearing assistance technology, and spent several years working in the NICU as a relief audiologist. She has served as a mentor for new SLP’s starting therapy with patients post cochlear implant activation. With her wide-ranging experience working collaboratively, and extensive knowledge in auditory rehabilitation and current best practices, she is a welcomed addition to Nine East Network’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program.
